ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH AND SCHOLARSHIP
The A.M.E. Church Department of Research and Scholarship is charged with locating, identifying, collecting, collating, and maintaining A.M.E. Church history; publishing quarterly “The A.M.E. Review” which is a collection of essays, biographical entries, and activities of the church; and promoting scholarship through its biennial gathering of scholars, activist, and practitioners who discuss, submit publications, and provide lectures on topics of significant ¬†interest to all across the globe.
